Brown Sugar Barbecue Sauce
Brush this thick sauce on chicken as you're grilling, or mix with pulled pork for great barbecue sandwiches.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
- 3 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp molasses
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp salt

- 2 tsp chili powder
- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp celery seeds
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 6 oz can tomato paste
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a sauce pan over medium high heat.

Notes
- Great sauce to keep on hand in the refrigerator in place of any bottled sauce.
