Sweet and Spicy Roasted Brussel Sprouts
A local chef shared his recipe with me which called for sriracha and honey. I was out of sriracha one day and subbed red pepper jelly. Now I use both for a combination of sweet and spicy.

- 6 slices thick bacon, or pancetta chopped
- 1 pound brussel sprouts, halved
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 4 tbsp red pepper jelly
- 1 tsp sriracha
- 1 tbsp honey
- 2 ounces goat cheese
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Place sprouts and bacon on a large baking sheet. Drizzle with oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Stir to coat.
Roast in oven for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Meanwhile, combine jelly and honey and whisk until well combined. Add more sriracha or jelly according to taste.
Serve sprouts with sauce drizzled over and goat cheese sprinkled on top.
