Garlic Shrimp Pasta
Pasta, garlic, butter and shrimp come together to make a quick and flavorful dish
Ingredients
- 8 ounces thin pasta, linguine, spaghetti, etc.
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp basil
- 1/4 tsp oregano
- 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 tsp dried thyme
- 3 cups baby spinach
- 1/2 cup parmigiana reggiano
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley
- 3 tsp lemon juice
Instructions
- Cook pasta, drain and set aside.
- In a large pan, heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Add shrimp and cook until shrimp begin to turn pink. Add seasonings and spinach. Cook until spinach begins to wilt.
- Add pasta back to pot with remaining, butter, cheese and parsley. Stir until butter is melted.
- Squeeze lemon juice over pasta and serve with additional cheese and parsley, as needed.
