Garlic Shrimp Pasta

Pasta, garlic, butter and shrimp come together to make a quick and flavorful dish

Ingredients
  

  • 8 ounces thin pasta, linguine, spaghetti, etc.
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp basil
  • 1/4 tsp oregano
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp dried thyme
  • 3 cups baby spinach
  • 1/2 cup parmigiana reggiano
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 3 tsp lemon juice

Instructions
 

  • Cook pasta, drain and set aside.
  • In a large pan, heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
  • Add shrimp and cook until shrimp begin to turn pink. Add seasonings and spinach. Cook until spinach begins to wilt.
  • Add pasta back to pot with remaining, butter, cheese and parsley. Stir until butter is melted.
  • Squeeze lemon juice over pasta and serve with additional cheese and parsley, as needed.
