Garlic Shrimp Pasta
Pasta, garlic, butter and shrimp come together to make a quick and flavorful dish

- 8 ounces thin pasta, linguine, spaghetti, etc.
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp basil
- 1/4 tsp oregano
- 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 tsp dried thyme
- 3 cups baby spinach
- 1/2 cup parmigiana reggiano
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley
- 3 tsp lemon juice
Cook pasta, drain and set aside.
In a large pan, heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
Add shrimp and cook until shrimp begin to turn pink. Add seasonings and spinach. Cook until spinach begins to wilt.
Add pasta back to pot with remaining, butter, cheese and parsley. Stir until butter is melted.
Squeeze lemon juice over pasta and serve with additional cheese and parsley, as needed.
