Equipment

  • Slow Cooker

Ingredients

  • 1 2 lb bag frozen, pre-cooked meatballs
  • 2 8oz bottles sweet chili sauce
  • 1 14oz can jellied cranberry sauce
  • 2 tbsp orange juice
  • chopped green onion or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan, heat cranberry sauce until melted.
  • Whisk in chili sauce and orange juice.
  • Place meatballs in slow cooker and pour sauce over them
  • Cool on low for 4 hours.

Notes

  • You want to use bite-size meatballs. You can make your own meatballs, but I find that high quality beef, or turkey, meatballs work great in this recipe.
  • I prefer Sweet Chili Sauce from Fresh Thyme. Heinz, or another chili sauce, will also work.  If you like spice, a Thai chili sauce will really add some heat.
