Maple Glazed Salmon
One of my favorite ways to prepare salmon--broiled with a great maple glaze.
Prep Time 30 minutes mins
Cook Time 15 minutes mins
- 1 1/4 pound salmon fillet
- 1/3 cup pure maple syrup
- 2 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- 3 cloves minced garlic
- 1/4 tsp ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Place the salmon in a glass baking dish. Top with garlic, ginger and pepper.
In a small bowl, combine syrup and soy sauce. Pour over salmon.
Marinate salmon for a minimum of 30 minutes, turning salmon once while marinating.
When ready to cook, flip salmon (skin side down). Broil for 15 minutes. Check salmon periodically while cooking to baste with sauce and to watch that it doesn't burn.
Top of salmon should be darkened with cooked and will flake easily,
